Meet the Instructors at Dartmouth Driving School in Nova Scotia

Dartmouth Driving School in Dartmouth has been a successful family-owned business since 1963. We take exceptional pride in knowing that our services help create opportunities for newly licensed drivers, while also keeping them safe on the roads.

Bernie McLellan was the owner of Dartmouth Driving School from 1996 to 2019. He is now working as a driving instructor for Dartmouth Driving School. He is an Advanced Driver and Maintenance Instructor, and has successfully completed the DDC-6 course. Prior to becoming an instructor with Dartmouth, he was a driving instructor for 17 years in the military.

Bill McLellan has bought Dartmouth Driving School and is now the owner. He is also a certified instructor with a rich instruction background. He has been with our school since 1997.

Certified Driving Instructors

Due to the dedication we put in training each motorist, we have become well-known in the area for our attentive customer service and professionalism in the field. All trainers at Dartmouth Driving School are certified instructors with extensive experience in vehicle safety procedures.
